CNC Mill Programmer
Clackamas, OR

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a CNC programmer for a local family owned metal manufacturing facility in Clackamas.

Responsibilities of the CNC Programmer:
o Under minimal supervision, create and modify NC (numerical control) programs in o Mastercam and SolidWorks for HAAS and MORI CNC milling centers.
o Independently perform machine set-ups and develop standardized set-up sheets for repeating orders.
o Instruct and mentor machinist operators throughout production process.
o Oversee support tooling, fixture development and organization.
o Assist with cost estimating, job scheduling, and document control duties.
o Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, locations of services, and machining parameters, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances.
o Make decisions about equipment use, maintenance, and modification; including the ability to identify and perform tool wear offsets as needed.

Compensation of the CNC Programmer:
o $26.00 to $32.00/hour DOE

This position is 90 days temp to hire, day shift (6AM-4: 30PM) Monday-Thursday.

Requirements of the CNC Programmer:
o 5 years of experience working unaided on programming and operating HAAS and MORI CNC multi-axis milling machines in a job shop environment; including manual milling.
o Ability to write and transfer CNC programs to HAAS and MORI mills.
o Experience with multi-axis, vertical and horizontal machines; including large and small production quantity runs.
o Reliable transportation to get to work
