Essential Duties/ Responsibilities:
" Read and record incoming and outgoing weights of materials
" Correctly records transactions and input data into computer system
" Correctly operate cash register or credit card machine to collect payments and prepares daily deposit
" Responsible for JWS Apex and SAP computer operation
" Performs daily KPI reporting and generates other reports using Excel
" Maintains a neat and orderly work environment and provides a welcome reception to customers
" Interact with customers and direct to appropriate areas and/or personnel
" Provides site specific training and notifies machine operators and laborers when a visitor enters the facility
" Adheres to all PPE and site specific requirements as per company policy
" Other appropriate duties as needed or assigned

Qualifications:
" Weighmaster certification preferred; but will train and certify the right applicant
" Previous scale experience and construction/materials industry related experience preferred.
" 1+ year(s) administrative experience and must be able to handle multiple tasks
" Good communication skills using telephone and CB radio
" Must be proficient in the use of a computer and Microsoft office applications
" Working knowledge of JWS-Apex and SAP a plus
" Impeccable customer service skills

Work Environment:
" Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, in a field operations office environment
" Regular exposure to dust, noise and vibration

Mirelda joined the Madden Industrial team in April of 2008 as a Recruiter in the Vancouver office. Mirelda is responsible for recruitment and placement of industrial/construction laborers, welders, equipment operators, machinists, and other skill trade specialists. She brings Madden over 12 years of staffing experience, having been employed by two national staffing agencies, and was previously a Human Resource Generalist for a national polyurethane company. As a Human Resources Generalist she was responsible for the screening and staffing of all shifts and for the company’s CDL truck drivers. Mirelda was also safety director and handled safety-related issues and training of hearing conservation, log out tag out, confined space and Contingency plan. Mirelda was the first female to be Hazmat certified for that company. As a first responder, Mirelda was also in charge of maintaining all Hazmat equipment. She is bi-lingual (Spanish / English) and received Volunteer of the Year award for her dedication and service to disaster victims. Mirelda also established her own business where she designs jewelry using semi precious stones. Her hobbies include gardening, sewing, extreme couponing, and spending time with her precious grandchildren.
