Facility Maintenance Technician
Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a maintenance tech to perform general building maintenance, plumbing, fire protection systems in an industrial environment.
Responsibilities of the Facility Maintenance Technician:
o Maintain, operate, and repair facilities systems and equipment.
o General building maintenance and other tasks assigned.
o Perform preventive/corrective maintenance on electrical systems including; Electrical switchgear and distribution systems in the medium and low voltage ranges, FLS systems, PLC and DCS control systems, and electro-mechanical systems."
o Repairs to facilities infrastructure.
o Plan, identify and procure parts for repairs and preventive maintenance.
o Perform periodic inspections of the premise and equipment to determine equipment status and repair as necessary.
o Maintains and updates electrical documentation, software, programs, operational parameters.
o Solicit competitive bids when necessary to obtain fair pricing for parts and services.
o Utilize software to schedule maintenance, and plan the work activities for the technicians on shift.
Compensation of the Facility Maintenance Technician:

Shift: (works every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and e/o Saturday) from 7: 00 PM - 7: 00 AM.
Requirements of the Facility Maintenance Technician:
o Must be actively licensed in the state of Oregon as: Limited Journeyman Manufacturing Plant Electrician (PJ) or higher Electrical License (J, PS, S)"
o Strong understanding of facilities plant maintenance and operation.
o Experience operating Facilities systems from SCADA or DCS software programs for building automation.
o Ability to identify, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical problems.
o Must be able to interpret and work from detailed blueprints, P&IDs, drawings, sketches, technical manuals.
o Effective project management skills, strong ability to translate priorities into field decisions with the ability to exercise good judgment in the absence of specific direction.
o Willing and able to perform work from a ladder or man lift.
o Lean Manufacturing experience is a plus
o Semiconductor industry experience is a plus
