Description



Description:
Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, this is for a position that is primarily responsible for the operation and maintenance duties of the campus electrical systems in a semiconductor FAB. This position will also be required to perform a variety of facilities preventative and corrective maintenance activities in the areas of general building maintenance, plumbing, fire protection systems.

This position is for D Shift (works every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and e/o Saturday) from 7: 00 PM - 7: 06 AM.

Responsibilities include:
" Maintain, operate, and repair facilities systems and equipment according to specifications. This includes general building maintenance and other tasks assigned.
" The primary function will be to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems including; Electrical switchgear and distribution systems in the medium and low voltage ranges, FLS systems, PLC and DCS control systems, and electro-mechanical systems.
" Ensure systems are operating within specified parameters and respond to alarms accordingly.
" Works with manufacturing on repairs to facilities infrastructure and other services to FAB tools and equipment.
" Responsible to plan, identify and procure parts for repairs and preventive maintenance.
" Makes periodic or special inspections (R&R) of the premise and equipment to determine equipment status and repair as necessary.
" Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making recommendations.
" Locates and leverages all types of equipment documentation.
" Maintains and updates electrical documentation, software, programs, operational parameters.
" Solicit competitive bids when necessary to obtain fair pricing for parts and services.
" Utilize CMMS software to schedule preventive and unscheduled maintenance, and plan the work activities for the technicians on shift.
" May be required to join ERT and/or work nights.

Qualifications

Requirements:
" Must be actively licensed in the state of Oregon as: Limited Journeyman Manufacturing Plant Electrician (PJ) or higher Electrical License (J, PS, S)
" Minimum of 5 years related experience
" This position is for D Shift (works every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and e/o Saturday) from 7: 00 PM - 7: 06 AM.
" Strong understanding of facilities plant maintenance and operation.
" Experience operating Facilities systems from SCADA or DCS software programs for building automation
" Team oriented. Able to work cooperatively with peer technicians on all shifts as well as engineering and customers.
" Ability to build and sustain positive and collaborative working relationships with a wide range of peers, customers and constituents
" Individual initiative and self-motivated, able to work independently.
" Ability to identify, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical problems.
" Must be able to interpret and work from detailed blueprints, P&IDs, drawings, sketches, technical manuals.
" Effective project management skills, strong ability to translate priorities into field decisions with the ability to exercise good judgment in the absence of specific direction.
" Able to act independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments
" Willing and able to perform work from a ladder or man lift.
" Communicate well with both orally and in writing.
" Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities effectively
" Competency and experience with CMMS programs, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Preferred:
" Lean Manufacturing experience is a plus
" Semiconductor industry experience is a plus

Mirelda Villagomez

Mirelda joined the Madden Industrial team in April of 2008 as a Recruiter in the Vancouver office. Mirelda is responsible for recruitment and placement of industrial/construction laborers, welders, equipment operators, machinists, and other skill trade specialists. She brings Madden over 12 years of staffing experience, having been employed by two national staffing agencies, and was previously a Human Resource Generalist for a national polyurethane company. As a Human Resources Generalist she was responsible for the screening and staffing of all shifts and for the company’s CDL truck drivers. Mirelda was also safety director and handled safety-related issues and training of hearing conservation, log out tag out, confined space and Contingency plan. Mirelda was the first female to be Hazmat certified for that company. As a first responder, Mirelda was also in charge of maintaining all Hazmat equipment. She is bi-lingual (Spanish / English) and received Volunteer of the Year award for her dedication and service to disaster victims. Mirelda also established her own business where she designs jewelry using semi precious stones. Her hobbies include gardening, sewing, extreme couponing, and spending time with her precious grandchildren.
