The role is full time and the individual needs to be onsite from 5: 30am - 4: 00pm Mon-Thur for candidates without an LME.

With an LME license the shift is Fri-Sun 6: 00am - 6: 30pm.

Work Description: We are searching for an experienced machine maintenance mechanic. This individual will troubleshoot production machinery, routinely repair machinery, which includes CNC/NC lathes and mills, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform scheduled and regular preventative maintenance.
Diagnose and repair equipment failures typically under "line-down" pressure.
Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures, to assemble, dismantle and overhaul machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical systems using meters and schematics.
Requisition necessary parts and materials for repairs within appropriate timeframes.
Comply with OSHA and other government regulations in regards to equipment safety and machine safeguarding.
Provide reliable and accurate information to ensure line efficiency and communicate end of shift pass downs.
Work to ensure minimum downtime is experienced through effective organization and time management.
Perform basic fabrication, such as cutting, layout, welding, fitting, and machining for the purpose of upgrading/customizing the repair of production equipment.

Previous Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright experience.
LME Preferred.
Must have excellent troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, strong work ethic, be motivated to learn, and be self-disciplined and reliable.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to read schematics.
Advanced knowledge of servos, open and closed loop feedback systems.
Experience in a manufacturing production environment preferred; self-directed work team experience a plus.
Working knowledge of power transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
Working knowledge of electrical control/drive systems, single and 3-phase power up to 480V and variable frequency drives (VFD's).
Understanding of National Electric Code (NEC) and Oregon Electric Code.
Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-orientated environment, set priorities to meet deadlines, handle multiple projects, and show good judgement when making decisions and solving problems under pressure.
