Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer:
Establish process procedures for machined and assembled products.
Participate in tooling development and production planning.
Review machined part fixtures and tooling for process improvement.
Develop process planning and load Bill of Materials from engineering drawings.
Work with programmers to determine reliable and cost effective process plans.
Support lean initiatives and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
Provide technical support for internal and external processing while coordinating with shop personnel and purchasing.
Must understand and comply with all quality, safety, and general company policies.
3+ years experience working in Manufacturing Engineering environment.
3+ years experience using CAD software, preferably NX. Knowledge of Catia, and/or SolidWorks is a plus.
Possess advanced math skills including trigonometry and geometry.
Have experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and blue print reading.
Have strong project management and computer skills including creation of spreadsheets.
Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Have a familiarity with machining processes; includes 'hands on' machining experience involving modern multi-axis CNC Machine tools.
Experience planning and quoting machined parts is desirable.
Pass a drug screen.
