We have a client in Tualatin, OR that is seeking a Painter for their Manufacturing Shop. Paint Technician is responsible to operate and maintain painting equipment.

Key Accountabilities:
o Charged with the responsibility of defining obstacles and aid in creating solutions concerning safety, identifying safety hazards, and suggesting corrective actions.
o Follow company safety practices and procedures to provide a safe work environment for all team members.
o Proficient at all paint processing equipment within the department, including both liquid and powder coating processes.
o Demonstrated ability to perform all jobs in the department.
o Set-up and perform color changes per job specifications.
o Measure and mix liquid and powder paints as necessary to complete job and train co-workers for correct application of liquid and powder paints.
o Prepare and inspect parts to ensure proper paint application .
o Apply primers and paints per manufacturing specifications.
o Perform preventative maintenance on all painting equipment as required.
o Understand and follow procedures dealing with parts flow and associated paperwork .
o Use all checklists for work processes and equipment maintenance; log information and file on a daily basis.
o Fill in for the department Team Leader in his/her absence.
o Ability to perform all duties of a paint line operator.
o Obtain proper motorized equipment certification.
o Perform all SS duties. Maintain acceptable SS standards.
o Understand & execute, if necessary, inventory paperwork & computer transactions.
o Adhere to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) metrics.
o Mobility to move within department/plant as assigned.
o Must pass Pulmonary Function Test. (PFT) Additional fit tests may be required.
