Working Foreman
Kalama, WA

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Working Foreman for a petro-chemical plant in Kalama, Washington.

Responsibilities of the Working Foreman:
o Direct the activities of a crew consisting of 7-9 craftsmen.
o Interpret blueprints to plan, project, and ensure quality control of projects.
o Pull work permits
o Ensure plant safety procedures are followed.
o Maintain timecards
o Perform pipe fitting in connection with disconnecting, connecting, installing, repairing, and modifying of chemical, steam water, air, and other plant lines; heat exchangers, condensers, tank coils, towers, furnaces, and other plant equipment.
o Make rough sketches and call out materials for pipe jobs.
o Capable of basic rigging duties associated with the removal and installation of pipe equipment.
o Does necessary cleaning of pipes, vessels, towers, and tanks with water, steam, or use of turbine equipment.

Requirements of the Working Foreman:
o 6+ years experience in general construction, with at least 5+ years experience in petro-chemical plants.
o 3+ years of mechanical experience, with 2+ in the petro-checmical environment.
o Possess knowledge of Industrial Safety, trained in Emergency Preparedness, and Hazardous Waste Control.
o Should have the potential to move up to the Supervisor position.
o Organizational skills are critical to this position.
o Computer literacy; ability to use software programs for projects as needed
